Description

FLED was a 15-month deployment of 28 seismometers across North America between Florida and Edmonton, Alberta. With existing permanent stations, FLED formed a 38-station quasi-linear array that enabled detailed study of
1) the core-mantle boundary,
2) D' beneath the central and circum-Pacific, and
3) the crust and upper mantle beneath North America.
