| Description |
A seismic network was installed in Turkey from 1997-2000 in the frame of the Turkish-German Earthquake Prediction research project. The network covered the epicentral area of the 1999 Izmit and Dücze earthquakes (SABOnet). The station density and the station coverage was extended in 1999 after the Izmit earthquake by additional stations of the German Task Force for Earthquakes (TF). |
