Data Center: USP

The USP Seismological Center coordinate a data center as a result of the collaboration from two distinct institutes in the University, the Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas (IAG) and Instituto de Energia e Meio Ambiente (IEE), both from Universidade de São Paulo, located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The center receives real time data from permanent and temporary stations mainly located in the Central, South and Southeast Brazil. It is a main contributor to the Brazilian Seismographic Network. Additional to own data, USP data center archives data from stations located in the north region of Brazil, as a agreement with the Observatório Sismológico from Universidade de Brasília.
